A Magical Mantra

Where are my affirmation girlies at?

The ones who have our dusty, old Louise Hay and Wayne Dyer books stacked on our shelves with dog-eared pages full of "I Am's" and mirror-worthy chants.

(Casually raises hand.)

We are in a new era, my friends, and a new era calls for new, more powerful mantras.

I've been testing this one out in my life in the last week or so, and it has been incredible how quickly it has allowed me to see new possibilities, be present to new realities and welcome new opportunities. New, new, new!

Bottom line, I've felt noticeably lighter using this one little line, and I refuse to gatekeep any magic that could help us feel better in these wackadoodle times we're living in.

Repeat after me...

"SHOW ME HOW GOOD IT CAN BE"

This activating, little power-punch of a sentence is going to change the way you see your day.

Another variation some people may like...

"SHOW ME HOW GOOD IT GETS"

Choose your own adventure - whichever you like!

Apply this sentence at will all day, every day. I say it more times than I can count.

When I'm feeling constricted or discouraged, I use it as a prayer or plea - SHOW ME HOW GOOD IT GETS!

When I feel joyful and excited, I use it as a celebration chant - SHOW ME HOW GOOD IT CAN BE!

When I'm doing dishes or mindlessly moving through day-to-day chores, I use it like background music in my mind - SHOW ME HOW GOOD IT GETS. SHOW ME HOW GOOD IT CAN BE.

I have it saved as the background on my phone, and you better believe I say it to myself every single time I see that photo.

Here's why I love this sentence:

1. It's active. "Show me!" You're asking your guides to DO SOMETHING, to AFFECT CHANGE, to SHOW OFF. And boy do they love a challenge.

2. It's limitless. "How good..." You aren't declaring a specific outcome; you're leaving it open for the Universe to surprise and delight you.

3. It's lightening. “It can be!” For me this sentence drips in possibility and makes me feel lighter and less alone. It connects me to my guides and reminds me to call on them for help.

Try it in your life today, and let me know how it feels to you! I love and adore words, so I will forever and always obsess about a good mantra when I find one.

Life is weird enough outside. We may as well say fun stuff to ourselves on the inside!
